Martina began her studies in Fine Arts and Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman before moving to London to complete a BA (Hons) in Fashion Imaging and Illustration at the London College of Fashion.

In London, she interned at the J.W. Anderson head office within the Accessories Department supporting the development of handbags, footwear, and small leather goods from concept through to production. Working closely with design and production team.

Prior to London, she worked as a Designer at Blackbough Swim, where she created over 30 original designs across swimwear, apparel, and accessories. Her work, met with international acclaim was worn by celebrities such as Elsa Hosk, Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus and more.

In this new chapter, Martina's eponymous label is now focused on expressing her Filipino roots with clarity and intention, creating work that is culturally relevant in efforts to represent and give back to the community that raised her.
